I live in Connecticut and made a purchase for my daughter and son-in-law Who live in Everett, Washington.
I made the purchase with my card Provide their address so would be shipped to them.
You did not ask for an email from them to contact them. You just required a phone number.
They do not know that they have a package coming so if this tells me is the delivery person will go knock on the door and if nobody’s home, leave a note saying that they need to have a signature.
So that extends the delivery to make those arrangements.
Now, maybe you do this I don’t know I didn’t read it, but if I had given you an email address, you could’ve notified them that they have a package delivery coming on a certain date and that it had to be signed for or they said they could designate a local business where they could just drive over and pick up that package that you delivered to that business.
I am unclear on How this delivery will transpire which is supposed to arrive December 27.
