Mystic grows the grain, uses the water from their onsite aquifer, pot distills each batch with master distillers making the cuts by taste and smell. Mystic aged this spirit in 53-gallon North Carolina Oak, but the barrels began leaking so badly that the bourbon had to be re-barreled into a second new North Carolina oak barrel. This double barreling gives Broken Oak a complexity and depth of flavor that earned top honors.
From broken hearts and broken barrels emerges our greatest spirit. All of Mystic's bourbons are handcrafted from grain that Mystic grows, water from Mystic's on-site aquifer, North Carolina oak barrels, and aged in the unique climate of the North Carolina Pidemont region.

Mystic orders placed by 3PM EST on business days Monday through Friday will be shipped out within 3-5 business days.
